Taylor is a rising sophomore studying in the College of Arts and Sciences planning on transferring to the School of Engineering and Applied Science. In her free time she enjoys local politics, playing the piano, hiking and volunteering at the Red Cross.

She won the $40,000 Xerox Award/Scholarship for Innovation and Information Technology and has participated in research of pain factors in HIV at University of New England. Taylor has also been successfully accepted to Johns Hopkins, UVA, Columbia and Tufts, among others.

In high school, Taylor was involved in the Math team, Science Bowl and Olympiad, Public forum debate and was TA for programming classes.
