Lisbel is a FLI student, born from Dominican parents and grew up in Bronx, NY. She's a rising sophomore at Columbia University, in the College of Arts and Sciences. Her hobbies include fashion, beauty, baking, and tutoring.

In high school, Lisbel was Young Women’s Leaderhip Treasurer, part of the Montefiore Youth Council, was a COOP Student Employee, and worked as an intern at the Children’s Hospital of Montefiore.

Lisbel was accepted into Columbia through the Questbridge scholarship and is currently the incoming sophomore representative for the Questribidge Scholars Chapter at Columbia.
