Kyu Won is a rising sophomore obtaining a dual degree in International Studies at the College of Arts and Sciences and Business at Wharton while pursuing a Japanese target language. She is also fluent in Mandarin and Korean, having graduated from an international school in Shanghai. In her free time she enjoys finding new music, reading, practicing interior design, and everything coffee related.

In high school, Kyu Won was heavily involved in Speech and Debate, winning many awards. She was the Editor-in-chief of a literary magazine, founded a women's advocacy group and was part of the Pittsburgh Youth Concert and APAC Orchestra as a violinist.
