As a dual citizen of the US and Guatemala, speaking both Spanish and English, Alexia went through her schooling in Guatemala and has developed a strong interest in sustainability and energy. In her free time she enjoys baking, reading, and training martial arts.
In high school, Alexia was involved in MUN, Knowledge Bowl, Ecological club and band. She was the chapter treasurer of the National Honor Society and started a project to fundraise and install solar panels in her school's library.
